About Único Fútbol Academy
Único Fútbol Academy is a high-performance development environment built for players committed to reaching the next level. The word Único means one-of-a-kind—and that standard is reflected in everything we do. Our work is not based on volume, but on intention. Every session, every interaction, and every detail is designed to push players beyond their current level.

About the Founder
Etzael (Et-sa-L) Gonzalez is our Founder and Director of Único Fútbol Academy, working within elite player development environments across the United States.
​
He currently serves as a Head Coach within the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) pathway, leading a team competing in the Texas Conference, while also holding leadership responsibilities overseeing competitive player development structures.
​
Etzael holds a UEFA B License through the Scottish FA, USSF B License and has completed advanced Technical Leadership (CTL) education through the U.S. Soccer Federation. He is also a recipient of the United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 recognition.
​
His experience spans youth, collegiate, and high-performance environments—bringing a clear, modern approach to development rooted in real-game demands.

Training Methodology
At Único, we take a player-centered approach to development—one where players are actively engaged, challenged, and supported throughout their journey. We work alongside players and their families to identify and set meaningful goals, ensuring alignment and clarity in the development process. Through consistent dialogue, players are probed to think, reflect, and take ownership of their growth.

Our methodology focuses on five key areas: technical coordination, tactical understanding, psycho-social development, physical fitness, and goal setting. Every session is designed with purpose—game-based, demanding, and reflective of real match environments—to push players beyond their comfort zone while keeping development relevant and engaging.

Furthermore, our training is tailored to each player’s position(s), ensuring specificity within their learning. Players can expect consistent feedback, honest communication, and a high level of support from the Único team. This is a collaborative process—one that requires commitment, accountability, and a willingness to embrace the work needed to reach new levels
